Rain again in different parts of Karachi

Karachi (NewsUpTime): It has started raining again in different parts of Karachi, strong winds are blowing and clouds are prevailing in some areas.

The areas of Quaid-e-Azam where the rains have started include Korangi, Landhi, Malir, Faisal Street, Orangi Town, and Nazimabad.

The Meteorological Department has forecast drizzle, light rain, and strong winds in Karachi even today. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Shar-e-Quaid is likely to remain at 35 degrees Celsius. Humidity in the air is 78 percent. As soon as the rains started, reports of power outages were being received in many areas.

On the other hand, even after several hours of rain in Karachi, water has accumulated in Orangi Town, Gulbahar, Landi Kotal, KDA Chowrangi, and Liaqatabad. In some places, mud and filth have made the lives of the citizens miserable. KMC staff was nowhere to be seen for cleaning in the affected areas. After rains in Karachi, Gujranwala overflowed in Liaquatabad, causing water to enter the surrounding settlements.

At least 10 people were killed in different accidents during rains in Karachi on Sunday and Monday. Power has not been restored in many parts of Karachi so far. The situation has returned to normal in many areas.

The water level in Liaquatabad Gujjar Nalla had overflowed due to which water is still available in the streets of the area adjacent to the Nalla due to which the residents of the area stayed awake at night. So far, Landi Kotal Chowrangi and KDA Chowrangi have also been submerged in rainwater after several hours.

Rainwater has receded in Kashmiri Mohalla of Gulbahar but mud and dirt are still there. KMC staff did not show up for cleaning. Rainwater has receded in Aligarh Bazaar in Orangi Town but mud and Dirt still exist. Residents in the rain-affected areas of the city have been severely affected by the slowness of KMC staff, and there is a risk of mosquito breeding and breeding due to lack of sanitation.
